Monthly Bluster

Boomers vs Millennials- A LOT scarier than Mars vs Venus

Naomee The Sensual Senior Monthly Bluster #25 Hashtag? Hashtag? What the HECK is a hashtag, anyway? Hey there, strangers. Where have you been for 7 months? OK, ok. I admit it. I’m the guilty party, 100%. As the old song goes, life got in the way. There IS a song of that title, isn’t there? I digress. I’m Naomee. The sensual Senior. Pammy’s alter ego. And, by the way, Pammy is soooo on the same friggin’ page re the subject of my latest blog. Like WTH? Hashtag? On Trend? A.I? Boomers are dinosaurs? Oh, right. That’s another topic altogether, which I’ll address in a minute. F.Y.I. (an old fashioned hashtagy way of saying something. Similar to L.O.L or OMG!) I’m not hitting on the Sensual cylinder this episode of the “Monthly” Bluster so if you’re here for the juicy, you should maybe click on your next website you follow for the latest news on dildos or the next 50 shades of whatever. Annyvayssssss.. SQUIRREL! I am soooo distracted right now I can’t even stay on topic. I’ll chock it up to… Summertime easy livin’ syndrome. So. Re Pammy and her shared with me # confusion. It IS true she wrote […]

It STILL amazes me!

It has been over two years..and sometimes I even FORGET I am –this–for I am not actively LIVIBG my craft!. It is time to remember.. The most common question I get is–“How do you get to be a novelist?” My stock answer is kind like this. It goes for ANY successful person in any field…but writing–is a special animal… “”Tenacity. Courage. Fierceness. Self-trust. Faith. Incredible energy. An abundance of positive attitude. The ability to work alone and stay motivated….and, again…Tenacity…Pamela”””

Below is another reader-Cindy..TY my dear girl!!! From July 5-2015.. YAY..A recent review from a reader on AMAZON.COM!!! THANK YOU!!!! AND the reader gave me FOUR stars!!! wootwoot…… *********From the moment I started reading Call Me J I was hooked. It’s a book that you can’t put down and don’t want to end savoring every moment in between. This crazy family will have you laughing, crying and your blood boiling within a few pages. Never before have I felt such a connection with a character as in Call Me J. When I got to the end I sat for a moment just taking in all of adventures, heartaches and celebrations Annie faced. The book is nicely written and from a first time author I found it easy to follow. I am definitely ready for the second book of this trilogy.*******

I was born with a reading list I shall never finish!

“Library in my mind” Awww yes.. Books… Our saving grace when we are in despair and need solace….. Our teachers. Our comedians when we need to laugh. Our heart’s desire when we need to imagine great love and passion. Our roadmaps to motivate and inspire us. Our Angels when we feel to give up.. We all NEED books.. They are our companions in life.. And once read and taken into our soul, a thing that NO ONE can steal from us… For we OWN the words then.. Forever and ever. Pamela–May-2015 —

Become fearless–then maintain.

My beautiful friends… I was privileged.. I was given a gift.. I was able to express my gratitude–in my Call me J-Holy snappin’ Trilogy.. for I knew and understood there was a message in my life.. and that it was NOT over–until I had given up… Sometimes life becomes—unbearable–and yes.. trust me–I have seen that end–many times–wished for it..hoped and prayed that soon it would be over.. But I KNEW–I KNEW that it was not the answer and that I was WORTHY..no matter how much I thought I was not–or actions had shown me by others that I loved this wrong message.. SO–as I say so often to you… KEEP TRYING.. TRUST in yourself.. Have faith.. Find that strength to keep going.. For–I guarantee you==there are many who love and need you–even if there are times you don’t love yourself… YOU ARE WORTH IT!! And the footprint you will leave behind you on this earth is worth it..is proof. Even THIS man leaves a footprint as he touches others with his message–as unusual and beautiful as can be… I had the privilege and honour of sharing my message in a book.. This man says it with his body.. It is […]

PUBLISHED TWO years ago a month from today!

Looking back to the final touches before I published Call me J–TWO YEARS AGO!! Can you believe it??? Here was my post April4-2014. ~~ I will Inform you all with the link as soon as it is live–within 4-5 weeks it will FINALLY be available in paperback or on Amazon as an e book!! Here is the final synopsis David, Jennifer and I came to… A Boomer’s Truth Trilogy Synopsis –Book 1 Call me J Historical events and pop-cultural reminders abound and mingle with the lives of this seemingly typical Boomer family. Spanning and including over 50 years, this funny, forthright, down-to-earth but melodramatic chronicle begins in the early stages in protagonist Annalee’s family’s lives, with the infamous Hurricane Hazel, taking young child Annie, in 1954 to her stormy mid-thirties in Book 1, Call me J. The author takes a naive high school dropout country gal on unexpected journeys so varied as to be pooh-poohed as unlikely in one lifetime. Annie, born ‘different’ from her sibs but happily approaching a decided future from a tiny town in southwestern Ontario, Canada ventures, instead, to a life of magical adventure. Or misadventure. Reader’s choice. This honest, memoir-style trilogy will have you saying […]

Honest! I’m an accidental author!!!

It is strange how this happened…I truly DID set out to write a small family chronicle. I truly DIDN’T mean to take four solid years to write an entire 1,000,000 word Trilogy covering 50 years of my and my family’s life!!! What is wonderful is that I had the strength and tenacity to finish and publish–and honour my mother..my simple intent in the first place..Pamela
