Keep your eye on the prize.

There ain’t NUTHIN’ wrong with being proud of our achievements in our daily existence, grand or miniscule.

It makes no matter the size of the prize.

What matters is that it matters to YOU!

Could be losing that final 10 pounds.

Could be getting that job you have worked HARD to get.

Could be helping another by just being there.

The list goes on.

There are 100s of things we do on a daily, weekly, monthly basis that bring us forward in life.

It truly has no bearing on our age, gender, our country, our station in life.

10 year olds can achieve greatness.

As can 90 year olds.

All that matters is that we reach for our goals.

That we fulfill our dreams

By NEVER, EVER giving up.

Or caving to those who say

you can’t do a thing.

For, if you believe you can,

You CAN do that thing.

Trust me!

Thought provoking post . Being proud has its own context that should be understood properly . I am sure the school yard bully has a sense of pride we would not want to convey in a positive light .

In a opposite sense even failure can hold a legitimate sense of pride based solely on the genuine effort put into a task . My heart goes out to perfectionist who can only find solace in their feeble attempt to create their masterpiece .

I like to settle for happiness and not come down too hard on myself for even failing to remember to lift the toilet seat . :>)

You got that right, Terry..As I said, life is all in the small details.. It is about watching for the tiniest miracles to present themselves and than acting upon them in the best way we can with what we have at the time.

Terry ?? I am Katou :>) but yea ,the devil can be in the details as well as the blessings of life . It may just come down to what filter we use on any detail we choose to examine .Like having a good pair of eyes or ears can produce a better picture or experience so too can two minds thinking about stuff . Three would make it a party though :>) hello to anyone else out there …come and party :>)
